Junior Sales Executive - Retail

Our solution is deployed as a SaaS solution for a wide variety of use cases (Geopricing, Product Pricing Optimisation). Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is curious about technology and retail with good interpersonal skills. You will work closely both with clients and the sales team, helping to gather client needs and translate those back into the product.
From time to time you will work at client sites on Proof of Concept projects where, in a short period of a few weeks, requirements will be implemented in ActivePivot to demonstrate the flexibility and power of our software. Sometimes the work can be very mathematical and algorithmic where an attention to detail and precision will be required. Other times the work might involve creating or adapting the UI which demands attention to ergonomics and the usability of the system.
You will need to be able to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure of deadlines while maintaining a professional approach to your work.
• Degree in Computer Science / Computing from top university
• 2 - 5 years of experience
You should also be familiar with application servers such as Apache Tomcat and experience with Spring, Maven, jUnit, Web Services, SaaS, Windows and Linux OS. You will put these skills to good use and embrace a state-of- the-art in-memory technology.
Familiar with SDLC or UX Design, you are able to follow or guide our clients during the steps of prototyping development, from design to delivery.
• You must be fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus but not a necessity
• You must be willing to travel (up to 20%)
• You have a retail background, or a first experience or strong interest in one of the fields
